River Cleanup Project – Washington, DC

Join #teamwillamette and fellow alumni from the DC area for Willamette's third annual Global Day of Service, a day in which Bearcats from all over the world give back to their local communities and embody the university motto, "Not unto ourselves alone are we born."

Team up with Lopaka Purdy ’05 and the Anacostia Watershed Society for a river cleanup project. You will be helping collect and sort trash from the Nash Run Trash Trap. The trash data you help collect will be used to educate the public and advocate for sustainable policies. It will be a great opportunity to spread some goodwill to your neighbors while having fun with Willamette friends!
