Advancing Data Science with Atkinson

Join fellow Atkinson alumni, faculty, current students and Dean Mike Hand for an exciting discussion highlighting Atkinson's expanding data science learning opportunities. These best-in-class programs take students from the classroom to the real world with curriculum and projects that teach students the most in-demand skill set of the 21st century.

The event will feature discussions by the dean and Professor Jameson Watts on how Atkinson is integrating data science into management education and the role data science plays in business and emerging technologies. Professor Watts will also be presenting some intriguing Oregon wine data while we enjoy some refreshments.

Before and after the discussion, take advantage of the chance to network and connect with fellow graduates from Atkinson, Dean Hand, Professor Watts and Director of Graduate Alumni Engagement Tiffany Newton. Tiffany will share with the group the exciting things happening between the Salem campus and Portland Center, along with Atkinson's continued recognition for programs across the school including a new business minor, the longstanding 3+2 program, and expanded data science offerings.
